Purchase of this service includes the initial discovery meeting to get to know you as a client, and learn about your project!
Illustrations are divided into three main categories:
Spot: (single visual/graphic with no border/background) $125-$225
Splash: (1/2-full page, characters & background) $400-$600
Spread (Double page illustration, characters & background) $600-$1000
-Cover imagery is typically charged in this range.
What to expect…
Discovery Phase
Initial client meeting: Project specs and current motivations. (Included in purchase)
Artist’s proposal of the project: Mood-board/Mock-up/Rough Concept iterations (billed at $50/hr)
- May include color rendering or value studies, depending on the client’s vision.
Production Phase
Design: Penciled explorations of composition, silhouettes, lighting/value studies. (10-15 images, client selects 8 to pursue)
Inking: Eight fully inked images, with client options for line weight and brush selection. (Client selects 4)
Rendering: 4 fully rendered images, with client options for texture and palettes. (Client selects 1, as final)
*Client receives 2 free edits per page
* The final bill will include Discovery + All Production
